Tender Description

In order for Port Stephens Council (Council) to successfully complete its Capital Works and maintenance programs it requires the services of a specialist contractor with the capacity and expertise to undertake and manage a variety of minor building works for Council projects.

Works included but not limited to:

  • Park furniture repairs/installation (e.g., picnic tables /shelters /log barriers /bollards, bin stands/surrounds/)
  • Door repairs/installation including door hardware.
  • Floor and wall tile repairs
  • Gyprock/plaster repairs
  • Office modifications
  • Fencing
  • Emergency /make safe works
  • Timber boardwalks.
  • PC items amenities (e.g., soap dispensers, toilet roll holders etc.)
  • Bus Shelters
  • Stair repairs /installation

Following the assessment of tender submissions, Council will form a panel of contractors who satisfy the requirements of this specification and the Contract documents, and who are offering to supply any of the items and services specified within the schedule of rates.

The Contract period is for twenty-four (24) months, with the option for Council to extend for a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months.
