UWA Sports System Replacement Project
Tender ID: 535683
Tender Details
Tender Description
Sport at the University of Western Australia (UWA) operates in a transactional and heavy customer focused business within the university and with a focus on sport and recreation services. The services are available to students and a wider customer base inclusive of staff and the public. Services are offered to individuals, underage participants, and groups/clubs.
LINKS Modular Solutions (LINKS) is the current customer relationship management (CRM) and business operations software in use at UWA Sport. The LINKS system is coming to the end of its life. The University is looking to replace LINKS, in a staged approach. The University will benefit enormously by conceptualising, developing, and integrating the most appropriate solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and deliver an optimum outcome for customers.
Projected benefits include:
- Enhanced student and customer experiences through provision of appropriate technology systems and experiences for specific services offered.
- Operational efficiencies.
- Greater interface integration, including but not limited to connection between UWA Sport technology stack and the wider university systems such as University wide CRM, building management systems and student accommodation management solutions.
- Reduction in IT support required by UWA Sport as there will no longer be on premise servers to maintain, no more SiteMinder, and no requirement for UWA IT involvement in software upgrades.
The following are the known business area needs of UWA Sport:
- Point of Sale
- Fitness membership experience management
- Aquatic program management, including Learn to Swim
- Sports league management
- Facility booking management
- Facility entry access management
- Recreation program management
- Special event/ticket sales
- Merchandise sales
- Facility maintenance management
- Asset and equipment management
- CMS
- Financial management
- Staff/team management
- Health and safety management
Essential to the considerations is the aggregation of information for the purposes of financial and other business reporting, being able to integrate with other relevant and existing business solutions of sport at UWA for finance and accounting, payroll, and people management.
A briefing session will be held at 55 Broadway, Nedlands.
