Glenelg Hopkins CMA is proposing to appoint a consultant to achieve the primary objective of this project: to undertake a cost benefit analysis of seasonal wetlands to agricultural productivity on farms in South West Victoria.

More specifically, the project aims to:

• Quantify the economic value of wetlands in terms of ecosystem services they provide to agricultural operations.
• Assess the potential for wetlands to contribute to farm productivity and profitability in the region.
• Understand the economic benefits associated with implementing regenerative agriculture practices particularly in conjunction with wetland conservation.
