Primary Health Networks (PHNs) have been established with the key objective of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improving coordination of care to ensure clients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

In response to the flooding which severely impacted the east coast of Australia in 2022, the Australian Government released funding to the PHNs in affected regions to support the wellbeing and resilience of these communities in response to and in preparedness for disaster events. In the CCQ region, these funds are targeted toward the Gympie Regional Council local government area, Maryborough (statistical areas 3) and Noosa Council local government area.

CCQ invites eligible organizations and community groups to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP). CCQ is committed to endorsing programs and activities that not only address immediate needs but also exhibit sustainability. Applications that demonstrate a strategic approach to developing sustainable activities to support the future resilience of communities are strongly encouraged.
