Tender Description
To enhance ESTA's business operations, it is crucial to implement effective early intervention and injury management for both managers and employees. Early Intervention services can include access to preventative treatments to improve the general health and well-being of employees as well as services to reduce the likelihood, severity and impact of work-related injuries. Mental health, acoustics, and sprains and strains are the most frequently reported incidents at ESTA.
ESTA is seeking a Contractor that can assist in the prevention of workplace injuries, prompt injury management with a focus on recovering at work whilst also developing a robust strategy that supports ESTA employees’ health and safety, that includes both physical and psychological early intervention.
Given ESTA employees may potentially be exposed to traumatic content through the nature of their work; it is essential ESTA are able to link their employees with treatment and support services, as quickly as possible, to reduce the risk of longer-term injury.
The Contractor must recognise and understand the unique challenges our frontline emergency workers face to provide tailored support that fulfils these requirements. The challenges of our people vary but may include cumulative exposure to traumatic events, responding to critical incidents, and intensive workload.
Early intervention is a prompt support service to employees to enable them to recover at work early, and as safely as possible following an injury or illness. By offering immediate support, and preventing further injury, employees' ability to recover quickly and resume their preinjury duties safely is significantly enhanced.
