Ballance Agri-Nutrients (Kapuni) Ltd (the Company) is releasing this Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify and shortlist Professional Engineering Service providers to respond to a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) to work alongside the Company and its technology providers to deliver the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) of the first phase of the Company's Te Ata Kapuni Decarbonisation Program.

The program is subject to formal reviews and approvals at certain 'decision gates'. Award of a contract arising from this EOI, and the subsequent RFP is subject to approval of the Board of Ballance Agri-Nutrients.

Beyond FEED, the Company intends to work with the successful FEED contractor to establish a risk-reward, partnership-based alliance for procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of the facility. The Company will select the supplier based on its capability to support delivery of both FEED and Execute phases.

The alliance contracting approach requires a high level of respect, transparency, and collaboration between parties. Additionally, the Company will place a strong focus on ensuring that it has in place the 'right people', the 'right processes', and 'right systems'.
