Cradle Coast Waste Services was established to provide regional waste services for nine councils in North West Tasmania. The major activities of DWM are:

• - Management of the Cradle Coast Regional Recyclables, Green Waste, Cardboard, Paint, Battery/Tubes/Globes/E-waste Contracts; and
• - Provision of waste-related advisory and project management services to the Cradle Coast Waste Management Group (CCWMG).

On behalf of the seven Councils which participate in the CCWMG, CCWS is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable organisations with the expertise, appropriate plant and equipment, and capacity to deliver scrap steel recycling services to the region's waste transfer stations (WTS).

The entities which propose to participate in this service include CCWS, Burnie City, Central Coast, Circular Head, Devonport, King Island, Kentish, Latrobe, Waratah-Wynyard, and West Coast Councils, together with Dulverton Waste Management. Each Council operates at least one waste transfer station (WTS) where it is possible that scrap steel recycling could be undertaken.

• White goods degassing
• And/or
• Gas bottle degassing and recycling
