Tender Description
Murwillumbah Rowing Club seeks proposals from suitably qualified design and construct (D&C) contractors to undertake the detailed design and construction of a (approx. 22m wide) “skid ramp” for launching of rowing boats, dragon boats and similar craft. The ramp will be constructed on the Tweed River at Murwillumbah, NSW.
The ramp is to extend from the shoreline adjacent to a rock revetment into the Tweed River, providing continuous use from high to low tide. The construction is being funded by a Grant from NSW Government’s Office of Sport Infrastructure Recovery Fund - Essential Community Sports Assets Program (ECSAP) and in association with Tweed Shire Council.
Construction is aimed to be completed by 31st January 2024 or a later date, by agreement.
