This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking feedback from organisations on their capability to design, manufacture, supply and maintain Pole Mounted Battery Systems.

In the context of this RFI, a Pole Mounted Battery System is defined as a battery energy storage system designed specifically to be mounted on an electrical utility power pole and capable of providing charge and discharge of real power under various scenarios. It should also be capable of providing leading or lagging reactive energy under various scenarios (primarily for Volt/VAR regulation).

Respondents are required to demonstrate capabilities and compliance with all conditions of this RFI, as outlined in Parts A, B and C of the RFI document.
