Expressions of Interest are invited and will close at 5 p.m. on 9 October 2023 for the provision of Internal Audit Services to the Torres Shire Council for a three-year term commencing in January 2024.

The appointed Internal Auditor will work closely with the Council’s Director of Corporate and Community Services to develop an Annual Internal Audit Plan and a three-year Strategic Internal Audit Plan for approval by the Council’s Audit Committee.

Proposals should contain details of the applicant’s qualifications, skills, and experience in providing internal audit services in both the public and private sectors and provide details of referees willing to attest to the skills and abilities of the applicant firm or individual.

Full details of the fee proposal for the provision of these services should be included in the submission and should include details of hourly rates, travel costs (if charged on an hourly basis), and out-of-pocket expenses that will be charged for the service.
