Tender Description
The existing culvert located under Telopea Avenue, Homebush West, over Boundary Creek consists of a concrete base slab, brick walls and a concrete slab above. The brick channel walls extend north and south of the culvert.
A Level 2 bridge inspection has rated the culvert condition index 4 and has further recommended its replacement.
The report dated January 2023 is attached in Appendix C
It is now proposed to replace this culvert with a precast reinforced box culvert of the similar size together with all associated ancillary works.
