Funding is available for infrastructure projects that support the recovery and reprocessing of focus materials prioritized in this funding round.
Overview
Funding is available for projects implemented in WA, handling or processing waste wholly or primarily sourced in WA.
Examples of infrastructure that may be funded by the program include:
- facilities and equipment to support greater sorting and decontamination of recovered materials
- facilities and equipment to enable reprocessing of materials to a higher quality suitable for manufacturers and end markets
- facilities and equipment for the remanufacturing of recovered materials into new products.
