1. Upgrade of the existing track from the Burke Development Road through to the 3-hectare Village pad and the Process Plant laydown areas
o the existing track from Burke Development Road intersection through to new Village and Process Plant Laydown areas is to be straightened through its horizontal alignment utilising a maximum allowable 10m disturbance width to facilitate the movement of single semi-trailers
o 6 off water crossings as indicated in approximate key locations 1, 3 & 4 and constructed in accordance with drawing 107501-EB-04120-31340- 001. Exact location to be determined onsite and approved by Company prior to commencement of construction.
o Generally, this track will have a nominal running surface of 6m. Track to be graded once cleared to remove minor undulations
o Where possible, crests either side of water crossings are to be reduced by grading to minimise rise severity.
o Overhanging branches within the 10m corridor are to be cut back by the contractor.
o at key location 2 as indicated in drawing 107501-EB-04120-31340-001 where the access road changes direction from East/West to North/South, the contractor is to increase the road surface to a width of 10m to create the maximum turning surface possible. This surface is to be flattened to allow for a smooth transition by heavy vehicles.
o Cleared vegetation is to be stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
2. Clearing and Grubbing of a 3-hectare Topsoil & Vegetation Stockpile Area
o A 3 Hectare pad as nominally indicated at key location 8 in drawing 107501-EB-04120-31340-001 is to be cleared and grubbed.
3. Clearing and Grubbing of a 3-hectare Village pad
o A 3 Hectare pad as nominally indicated at key location 5 in drawing 107501-EB-04120-31340-001
o Exact extent of 3 Hectare pad by others.
o Nominally 150mm of topsoil to be removed from surface and stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
4. Clearing, Grubbing and Compacting of the 6-hectare Process Plant laydown area
o 6 Hectare pad as indicated at key location 6 in drawing 107501-EB-04120- 31340-001 is to be cleared and grubbed.
o Pad to be levelled to produce a minor fall in the direction of natural run off
o Pad to be scarified, conditioned and rolled to produce a compacted surface.
o Cleared vegetation is to be stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
o Nominally 150mm of topsoil to be removed from surface and stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
o Exact extent of 3 Hectare pad by others.
o Nominally 150mm of topsoil to be removed from surface and stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
5. Construction of the Northern Bore Field access track
o The access track as indicated in part as key location 7 in drawing 107501- EB-04120-31340-001.
o The track is to be cleared to produce a maximum disturbance corridor and running surface width of 6m. The track is to be graded once cleared to remove minor undulations.
o Water crossings in potentially 4 locations along this section of track are to be constructed as per drawing 107501-EB-04120-31340-001. The actual number of crossings required is to be confirmed by the Company
o Where possible, crests either side of the crossings are to be reduced by grading to minimise rise severity
o Overhanging branches within the 6m corridor to be cut back
o Cleared vegetation is to be stockpiled in area nominated by the Company Representative / Company. Contractor to allow for stockpile area in proximity to Process Plant Laydown Yard.
