ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Ku-ring-gai Council is located approximately 16 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD. The Ku-ring-gai local government area has a unique predominance of residential development, with a notable absence of industry or large commercial areas. It is valued for its dense tree cover and surrounded by steep gullies of bushland reserves and national parks.
ABOUT THE TENDER:
Ku-ring-gai Council (Council) Council is seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or organisations who are interested in obtaining a lease of Firs Estate Cottage 60A Clanville Road Roseville within Roseville Park. The historic cottage has been operated as a retail/gallery/restaurant since 2007 in accordance with existing planning approval and the plan of management.
Subject to a resolution of Council and the selection of a successful tenderer, the proposed lease to be granted is for a period of seven (7) years, with a five (5) year option and will be subject to the terms and conditions contained in this RFT and the accompanying draft lease attached at Annexure B.
A description of the property that is the subject of this tender is set out in Annexure A in the tender document.
Council reserves the right to accept or reject tender submissions, at its absolute discretion, having regard to the specifications provided, its stated aims and in accordance with the Tender document.
Commercial Property Site Visit
Tenderers who are interested in submitting a tender for the lease of Firs Estate Cottage should note there is a mandatory requirement to inspect the premises in company with Council officers:-
On either Tuesday 10 October 2023 at 11:00am OR
on Tuesday 17 October 2023 at 11.00am.
Please meet at the front entrance of the cottage. A list of those who attend will be recorded.
Tenderers should note that failure to attend one of the compulsory inspection days will result in a tender for the commercial component as being non-conforming.
REGISTRATION: Tender documents must be obtained after registration (see option below).
To ensure that all information is received the entity who is submitting the response must be registered and have downloaded the documentation (see option below) specific to the particular Tender, EOI or RFQ they have responded to.

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box using the attached word version of the Schedule. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
