The Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) has commenced a review of the irrigation pricing practices of Sunwater and Seqwater for the purpose of recommending irrigation prices to apply for the four-year period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029. As part of this review, we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to provide expert advice on the prudency and efficiency of Sunwater's (and if directed) Seqwater's proposed operating and capital expenditures.
The businesses' regulatory proposals are due to the QCA on Thursday 30 November 2023 and will be made available on the QCA website shortly after.
The closing date for receipt of consulting proposals is Friday 20 October 2023. Proposals can be lodged at www.qca.org.au/submissions or sent to:
