Tenders are invited from suitably experienced transfer station, landfill contractors and resource recovery contractors to provide residual waste disposal services to support the Resource Recovery Group’s (RRG) Canning Vale Centre (CVC) operations and other functions of the RRG.

Waste is required to be received from:

1. Side and rear loading waste collection vehicles operating in the Cities of Melville and Fremantle and the Town of East Fremantle. The waste streams include:

• Residual waste (red lid bin) from 3 bin collections;

• General waste from 2 bin collections; and

• Other general waste from Council, commercial and litter bin collections.

2. Hook-lift configured bulk bins and compactor bins.

The waste streams include:

• FOGO oversize and screening residuals;

• Materials Recovery Facility wastes;

• Municipal solid waste; and

• Other wastes generated on site.

3. Other configurations, semi-tipper, walking floor and B-Doubles.

Consideration will also be given to proposals offering to beneficially re-use or recycle the residual wastes.
