We assist local and visiting productions in realising their creative visions through funding and initiatives, by connecting them with the most advantageous locations and by providing high-quality production support from the local industry.

Our aim is to build a stronger ACT screen industry that contributes to a diverse local economy and creative industry through the production of local, interstate and international film, television and digital media projects.

Recent productions supported by Screen Canberra include 6 FESTIVALS (2022), SISSY (2022), BLACKLIGHT (2022), starring Liam Neeson, and TOTAL CONTROL (2019-2023).

Funding

SCREEN CANBERRA PROVIDES VARIOUS FUNDS TO DEVELOP LOCAL SCREEN CONTENT & TALENT, AND TO SUPPORT INTERSTATE & INTERNATIONAL SCREEN CONTENT IN THE REGION.

Through a diverse range of funds, Screen Canberra aims to support the local screen industry to continue to develop the region’s creative capabilities. Funding is also available for interstate and international productions looking to shoot or complete post-production in the region. Browse our funds below.
