Homes Victoria is seeking responses to this Expression of Interest (EOI) for Main Works Contractors to undertake construction of 54 new social housing (low-rise apartments, 3 blocks of 3 storeys each) in East Geelong on land owned by Homes Victoria.

Homes Victoria intends to redevelop the East Geelong site as part of the Victorian Government’s Big Housing Build. The project has been fully demolished as of November 2023.

This EOI invites pre-qualified contractors on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR). The Government’s Local Jobs First policy including Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG), Social Procurement Framework, Building Equality Policy and Fair Jobs Code apply to this procurement.

The Government's Fair Jobs Code Plan apply to this procurement. Tender participants will need to hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate at the time of Tender submission.

Tenderers for this EOI will be shortlisted and contacted prior to tender release in March 2024.

Contract award is expected in June 2024.

Homes Victoria reserves its rights to amend its approach, timing and requirements in respect to the contractor procurement process.
