The Geelong Arts Centre (GAC) is one of a group of State-owned cultural agencies including the Victorian Arts Centre, Museum Victoria, National Gallery of Victoria and others. It is a Statutory Authority and was established by the Geelong Performing Arts Centre Trust Act 1981 (Vic).

GAC is the major provider of arts experiences in Geelong and the G21 Region welcoming in excess of 180,000 Visitors and 15,000 artists across multiple theatres studios and creative spaces. We are home to ‘Creative Engine’ our artist-development initiative that fosters pathways to professional artistic practice.​

​GAC is currently undergoing a building transformation with the Little Malop Street Redevelopment of the masterplan completed in 2023 adding theatres and new spaces to the Centre. Further works will continue into 2023 - 2025 in the Rooftop, and Church spaces which will complete the masterplan.

GAC has an internal cleaning team of casual employees, who perform daily cleaning tasks mainly within back-of-house areas. These staff members will continue to support the centre moving forward in their current role(s). GAC are seeking a Contractor whom will act as a close service partner, to complement the existing services already being provided in-house, and bring further expertise, specialist equipment and a skilled workforce to support periodical cleaning tasks throughout the contract.

Notes: Approximately 2 hours in duration with time for questions. Multiple times available as we can only accommodated limited group sizes per tour and briefing. Times available listed on the timetable in the Request For Quotation - Provision of Cleaning Services document
