Covalent Lithium invites expressions of interest (EOI) from potential and/or experienced suppliers/contractors for the supply of a mining Fleet Management System (FMS). The FMS will form part of an Integrated Mine System that will be composed of multiple specialist software packages from various suppliers. These software packages and systems will reliably exchange information.
The successful FMS will be an industry standard system that is capable of managing, amongst other things, source and destination recording, high precision mining, fleet dispatch and general operating data recording and reporting.
This EOI is only a preliminary step to understand and identify whether there are potential suppliers/contractors in the market that are interested in and capable of satisfying the procurement needs.
Following the closure of this EOI, suitably qualified Contractors may be invited to a formal request for proposal (RFP) process.
SUPPLIER REQUIREMENTS:
Supplier/Contractor capability:
• Nationally well known, reputable company capable of providing and delivering an industry standard mining fleet management system.
• Extensive technical support capability, R&D to offer the best suited product(s).
Supplier/local agent capability, if applicable:
• Extensive experience in mining and fleet management systems.
• Demonstrated support and product development services.
SPECIFIC SCOPE REQUIREMENTS:
• The successful supplier/contractor will be required to demonstrate that the product is an industry-standard FMS. This will include all the normally expected functionality of such a system
• In addition, the successful supplier/contractor will be required to demonstrate:
o how the product is capable of addressing a number of specific use cases that are important to this application of the FMS; and
o that the system is capable of meeting the expectations of the company and the requirements of the FMS.
• The successful supplier/contractor must meet the Company’s and Western Australia HSEC requirements.
• The ability to comply with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements is mandatory.
• Previous experience in remote locations is advantageous.
The successful supplier/contractor must provide the following:
• previous experience in the provision of FMS in Western Australia.
Experienced and interested suppliers/contractors are invited to submit their EOI and must provide/attach, as minimum, the following documents/information:
Mandatory documents:
• Brief introduction of the supplier/contractor company
• Technical experience related to the scope of supply defined above
• Ownership/ shareholder information such as supplier / contractor company charter
• Executive team structure/ introduction
• Organisation structure & total manpower
• List of clients, case studies or results of similar products
