Tender Description
The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) requires parliamentary monitoring services for information and research purposes. The service should have capability for both push (i.e. pre-defined alerts) and pull (i.e. bespoke research) modes of operation, and provide access to parliamentary proceedings, legislation, parliamentary media (press releases, doorstops) and court decisions. The service must cover federal parliament and ideally state and territory parliamentary information and have the ability to search both current and historical information. Users should have the ability to receive automated alerts on areas of interest including custom searches and pre-defined topic areas, at a frequency that suits them including either immediate, daily or weekly.
Specific requirements
- Access to the service, including for bespoke research, should be IP-fixed and allow up to 100 organisational users to access the service, without the requirement for separate/individual logins.
- Users are able to conduct searches, including using advanced Boolean operators, on current and historical parliamentary information at the Commonwealth level and, ideally, state and territory.
- Ability to create individual personalised alerts, at a frequency of either immediate, daily or weekly, on searches created at item 2 above.
- Ability to adjust at any time items created at 3 above, including amending search terms.
- Access to pre-defined newsletters and alerts created by the supplier on common parliamentary information topics such as portfolio topics (agriculture, environment, health, indigenous etc.).
Service to be delivered remotely and accessible through the internet with alerts delivered through email.
