The Copper Coast Council is seeking interested contractors to tender on the cleaning out of septic tanks within existing STED’s areas as specified within the attached documentation.

The Copper Coast Council is situated on the Yorke Peninsula comprising of approximately 15,000 residents with the region being agriculturally rich and a popular tourist destination for many. The region has experienced high levels of residential development well above the states regional averages.

A recent development within waste water management include the construction of a new Community Waste Management Scheme for the Moonta Township and surrounds delivering 3,500 new connections with accompanying pump stations and mechanical treatment plant. Another mechanical Treatment Plant has been constructed at Wallaroo with a complete bio solid receptacle. Throughout the region various major pump stations are being routinely upgraded through current and future budgets to ensure the schemes long term sustainability.
