Tender Description
The Islamic School of Canberra invites submissions suitably qualified contractors to carry out roof replacement and in-ground drainage works to A-Block, a single storey multi-use building, at its Weston site in the ACT. Ideally, construction will commence in the December 2023 school holidays.
The project includes:
- the removal of approx. 1,455 sqm of concrete roof tiles, and replacement with a new colorbond steel roof, fascia, and downpipes, associated insulation and structural works,
- removal and replacement of AC eaves lining,
- removal and reinstatement of existing solar panels,
- In ground civil works to upgrade drainage,
- • New concrete paving and rectification of existing paving.
- Contractors will need to show:
- Sensitivity to the nature of a school environment
- • Successful completion of projects of similar complexity
- • Construction experience in the control of cost and time issues
- The technical capacity, financial and physical resources to deliver the project.
