Tender Description
The Islamic School of Canberra invites submissions suitably qualified contractors to carry out roof replacement and in-ground drainage works to A-Block, a single storey multi-use building, at its Weston site in the ACT.
Ideally, construction will commence in the December 2023 school holidays.
The project includes: the removal of approx. 1,455 sqm of concrete roof tiles, and replacement with a new colorbond steel roof, fascia, and downpipes, associated insulation and structural works, removal and replacement of AC eaves lining, removal and reinstatement of existing solar panels, In ground civil works to upgrade drainage, New concrete paving and rectification of existing paving.
Contractors will need to show:
· Sensitivity to the nature of a school environment.
· Successful completion of projects of similar complexity.
· Construction experience in the control of cost and time issues.
· The technical capacity, financial and physical resources to deliver the project
