Cumberland City Council (Council) is seeking offers from accredited and experienced childcare providers to commence operations in the “former Banksia Babes Childcare Centre” located at 27 Monitor Road, Merrylands NSW 2160.

The Lease Term is fixed for a period of 5 years with the option to extend the Lease for an additional 5-year periord, at the sole dircretion of Council.

All respondents interested in making a submission must demonstrate that they hold the relevant regulatory licenses to provide centre based childcare services in New South Wales. Council currently holds a Service approval for the site and the ability to transfer to the respondent will be subject to negotiation.

Eligible organisations will be assessed against their experience and capacity to meet the criteria on the online form.

Mandatory Site Briefing

All respondents are required to attend one of the mandatory pre-tender briefings / inspections. The meetings have been scheduled for:

• Wednesday, 7 February 2024 (10:00 - 11:00 AM)
• Wednesday, 14 February 2024 (10:00 - 11:00 AM)

Should the respondent fail to attend one of the site inspections and sign the pretender site attendance sheet, its tender will not be considered.
