The Shire of Kellerberrin's Audit and Risk Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Council regarding financial management, risk management, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit planning and reporting.

The Shire is seeking to appoint one (1) suitable qualified and experienced independent person to join its Audit & Risk Committee.

The Independent Committee Member must have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

· financial management and internal control;

· business management;

· governance;

· corporate risk management; or

· local government financial management and reporting;
