The University of Western Australia (UWA) is seeking the services of a Mechanical Services Maintenance Contractor to provide the University with Mechanical Maintenance Services at the following University sites:

• 901 Crawley Campus Site
• 906 Park Avenue Site
• 911 Nedlands Site
• 931 Shenton Park Field Station Site
• 932 UWA Sports Park - Mcgillivray Site
• 941 Claremont Site
• 955 QEII Medical Centre
• 970 Albany Site
• 970 Geraldton Site
• 970 Ridgefield Farm Site
• 978 Gingin Site

The work to be performed comprises the inspection, services and reporting on the mechanical services plant and equipment as contained within the RFT Part 2 Requirements documentation.

The mechanical maintenance services contractor will work closely with the UWA Campus Management Operations Team to maintain existing assets and to meet all obligations and responsibilities in relation to regulatory compliance maintenance activities.

The services Term we are seeking is for an initial 5 years (plus a transition in period). UWA may then extend the Term for a further Term of 1 year up to two (2) separate occasions.  The conditions of contract will be the UWA Goods and Services Agreement (see reference document RFT Part 4 Conditions of Contract).

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley on14 November 2023 10:00 AM.

A mandatory Tender briefing and site visit will be held as follows:

The Pre-Tender Briefing / Site Visit will be conducted at the date and time stated at 1.4 of the RFT document Part 1 Conditions of Tender.

Location: The University of Western Australia, 35 Stirling Highway, Perth WA 6009

The actual location on campus will be advised prior to the site visit.

A register of attendees will be maintained for the mandatory briefing session. Tenderers must be registered on the site briefing register & have signed the register for a Tender Submission to be considered valid.
