The University of Queensland (UQ) seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced cleaning contractors to provide cleaning services to The University of Queensland. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify a shortlist of suppliers to invite to a further Invitation to Offer process.

Background

UQ currently engages a cleaning contractor to provide these services. This cleaning contract is due for expiry on 31st December 2024.

UQ is conducting a two-stage engagement with the market consisting of:

1. A request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) (this phase)
2. An Invitation to Offer (ITO) with a shortlist of suppliers selected from respondents to the EOI phase.

The purpose of this EOI is to:

1. Identify suppliers which are interested in providing the services.
2. Understanding the capability of the market.
3. Identify opportunities for innovation in contract delivery
4. Determine a shortlist of suppliers to invite to submit a detailed offer.
