CITY OF PARRAMATTA, Expression of Interest EOI-31/2023 - Epping Aquatic Centre Design & Construct Contractor.

ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles, and experiences.

ABOUT THE EOI:

Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Head Contractors who have expertise in the construction of Aquatic Centres. It is envisaged between three (3) and five (5) construction firms will be short listed to proceed to the second stage for the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the design and construction of Epping Aquatic Centre

A summary of the scope includes:

* Completion of the design and then construction of the facility

* Demolition of existing structures

* Construct a new indoor 20m pool building and amenities.

* New plantrooms and associated equipment

* New bleacher seating area to the existing 50m outdoor pool

* Upgrade to the existing 50m & existing children's splash play area

* Working in a bush setting adjacent to an existing neighbourhood centre

Tenderers must have

* ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety,

* Quality Assurance and Management and

* Environmental Management

* Demonstratable experience having been the Head Contractor on Design and Construct projects valued at greater than $20 million.

* Experience in delivering Public Buildings for Government Clients

to be considered for this tender.

No site inspection is proposed at this stage but is expected to be facilitated for those proponents short listed to stage 2 - the tender.
