The works covered by the Specification includes equipment upgrading and / or replacement, as well as the associated works necessary to comply with the latest regulatory and code requirements, in relation to the three (3) existing Escalators installed at NGV Australia, Federation Square, located at Cnr. Flinders and Russell Streets, Melbourne, VIC 3000.

The units were originally installed by Schindler Lifts Australia Pty Ltd (Schindler), in circa 1999.

Broadly speaking, the works comprise of the full in-truss upgrade, or replacement, of the three (3) existing Escalators, namely Escalator Nos. 4, 5 and 6.

A briefing session will be held at Corner Swanston and Flinders St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3000 on 29 November 2023 02:30 pm.

Notes: Location of presentation NGV Australia, Fed Square. Meet outside the doors to the NGV, inside the Atrium of Fed Square.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
