Iberdrola Australia has submitted to the declared Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone and is awaiting feasibility license outcome notification.
Operating in Australia for over twenty years as leading renewable energy entity Infigen Energy. Infigen Energy, through acquisition, joined the Iberdrola global group in 2020 and is a vertically integrated renewable energy generator. At the end of 2022 Iberdrola Australia acquired Autonomous Energy, a leading smart solutions company to further service our customer base. Iberdrola Australia has a portfolio of more than 3GW of projects across Australia in various technologies, at different stages of development. Our generation portfolio is more than 95% renewable and includes 9 wind farms, 3 solar farms, 2 grid scale batteries and 2 fast-start gas peakers. Today we are investing in new capabilities in networks, green hydrogen, and offshore wind.

Opportunities
Iberdrola Australia supports local supply chain development and is committed to engagement with local suppliers, contractors, manufacturers, and general supply chain resourcing for offshore wind development.
Our Gippsland offshore wind development (pending license outcome) will include an offshore wind farm; substations located both offshore and onshore to connect to existing infrastructure for transmission.
Supply chain provisioning will occur during the initial feasibility period, followed by construction delivery, with post construction operations and maintenance ongoing needs.
