The Tumut MA manages and maintains over 5,700 km of roading infrastructure, spanning a geographic area that extends from northern Buccleuch to the southern border of Green Hills South State Forest. Targeted drilling, blasting, crushing and sizing of rock from quarries are undertaken annually to support the construction, repair and maintenance of strategic assets, servicing a large commercial forest industry and the regional community at large.
Under this RFP, FCNSW requires road base material to be produced from four pits. These are Dykes Pit, Chinamans Pit, Tumba Pit and Three Mile Pit over a period up to three (3) years. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, plant, equipment and safety apparatus to perform the full scope of works.
