The University of Western Australia (UWA) requires services to undertake the valuation of university buildings, site improvements, and contents (excluding research, library books and artwork) for insurance purposes.

The provision of professional valuation services (inclusive of valuation methodology) required by UWA, include:

1. An insurance valuation, in accordance with RICS Guidance Note 'Reinstatement cost assessment of buildings, 3rd, February 2018' (Appendix 1), and with Property Valuation Guidelines being "replacement with new value"; and
2. A valuation for financial reporting purposes, in accordance with the relevant Australian Accounting Standards Board standards (AASB13 & 116), for "fair value".
3. A site inspection of 60% of the University's building portfolio.
4. A desktop valuation of the remaining 40% of the University's building portfolio.

UWA is looking to enter into a contractual agreement with a contractor to manage the University's valuation services for one (1) valuation cycle.
