Council is seeking Submissions to the Proposal for the lease, licence and/or re-development of (whole or part) 146 and/or 148 Church Street, Glen Innes to gain a more detailed understanding of the market and range of commercial uses/tenancies that may be available to these premises

Council is wishing to partner with a proponent who recognises not only the commercial potential of this unique site but who can do it in a way which leverages off the heritage elements of the building and reflects the pivotal role the building played in Glen Innes's history.

Council is prepared to consider proposals which turn the site into a commercial/tourism/heritage drawcard and results in the development offering something unique in the New England region.

This EOI process may be the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process, or depending on the submissions, may result in Council undertaking direct negotiations with prospective tenant/s.
