The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has recently received significant funding to undertake its Digital Transformation Program of work and put ASQA at the forefront of regulation through leveraging digital technologies to enable regulatory outcomes.

Due to the significant external oversight of the Program, namely by the Department of Finance and the Digital Transformation Agency, ASQA is wanting to engage the services of an External Advisor on an ad-hoc basis to:

• Consult into the Program, through the Digital Transformation Board, its adherence to best-practice Program Governance.
• Work with the Senior Responsible Officer, Chief Digital Officer and key governance stakeholders to ensure the Program is aligned to and meets the requirements of those who seek external assurance.
• Consult the chief Digital Officer, Senior Responsible Officer and the Accountable Authority (ASQA CEO) as needed.
• Provided targeted oversight (if required) to bring Program milestones and objectives back on track.

There will be a requirement up front for the External Advisor to spend in-depth time with the Program and its stakeholders to get a detailed understanding of Program functions, as well as bi-monthly or quarterly participation on Program Boards.
