Western District Health Service (WDHS) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Principal Consultant (Architect) to manage the following:

• Pre-Design services including Building Fabric Survey including Access Survey / Building Services Survey / Main Building Fire Safety & Risk Assessment

• Schematic Design

• Planning Permit

• Design Development

• Tender Documentation

• Development of a Business Case

• Tender

• Contract Administration

• Defects Liability

• Post Occupancy Evaluation of a new Emergency Department facility, and refurbished ICU and Palliative Care Units within the Main Building. The Principal Consultant (Architect) will be responsible for briefing, appointing and managing a project team to complete the stages outlined above including but not limited to the following consultants.

• Architect

• Structural and Civil Engineers

• Building Services Engineers

• Geotechnical Engineer

• Building Surveyor

• Landscape Architect (including Irrigation Design Consultant and Arboricultural Consultant)

• Access Consultant

• ESD Consultant

• Acoustic Consultant
