Barwon Coast is responsible for the management of the coastal Crown land reserves along the townships of Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Breamlea including Bancoora Beach.

As part of their strategic planning responsibilities Barwon Coast is leading the development of a local scale coastal adaption plan for Bancoora Beach and the surrounding Breamlea foreshore.

The key objectives of the Plan are to: understand the cultural, environmental and community values of the area, understand how these values may be impacted by coastal hazards, such as erosion and inundation, and assess and choose adaptation options to manage the future risk to these values.

Barwon Coast is seeking consultants to develop aspects of the Bancoora Coastal Adaptation Plan. The project will cover stages 1 to 5 of Victoria's Resilient Coast framework and guidelines. The consultants will need to develop the Plan in line with the framework and guidelines.
