Tender Description
PURPOSE: The purpose of this tender is to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of new a new gatehouse, weighbridges, and site entry at the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility. Works will include earthworks, building construction, road pavement construction and surfacing, utilities service connection/relocation, and landscaping, and design and construction of 2 x new weighbridges.
INVITATION: Any person willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract is invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 10:00am on Monday 19 February 2024.

PRE-TENDER MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at 10:00am on Thursday 18th January 2024 at the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility, 109 Mt Vincent Road, East Maitland.
TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer shall:
- submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete;
- not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed;
- not engage in any form of collusive practice;
- not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
