Yass Valley Council manages an extensive road network of over 1,200km throughout the Local Government Area (LGA). Council has received funding under the Fixing Local Roads - Round 4 program and intends to reconstruct 4.385km of Back Creek Road between Chainages 5150 – 9535 (measured from Sutton Road).The objective of the project is to upgrade the road surface to a spray sealed surface, improve the serviceability of the road, and improve safety.

The Tender Briefing meeting will be held at the intersection of Back Creek Road and Lees Road approximately 5.3km from Sutton Road.
