NSW Trains (NSWT) seeks to contract with a Catering Services provider, for the sourcing and supply of products, which support NSWT onboard catering services to long distance passengers.

NSW TrainLink (NSWT) provides on-board catering services on long distance regional and interstate rail services (XPT and Xplorer). Catering services are provided to customers using a dedicated buffet car on the train. NSWT provides Catering services through:

• Internal (provided by NSWT staff) - on-board catering sales and customer service, and top-up of in-transit services from dry store locations around the State.

• External - (Service Provider) sourcing & Supply of Products, including logistics, inventory management, and handling (onboard loading, stowing, unloading, dry store stock and disposal of products).

NSWT incumbent Catering Service providers contract will expire, and this sourcing event seeks to contract for a new term with a suitably qualified Catering supplier.

This EOI Sourcing event is the 1st stage of a 2-stage sourcing process. This EOI will short-list suitably aligned suppliers for invitation to a second stage Limited RFP (by invitation).
