Background

The City of south Perth is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations' to provide mobile graffiti removal and high pressure cleaning.

The Contract duration shall be for three years and includes one option to extend the contract for a further 24 months at the sole discretion of the City. It is the intention of the City to award the resultant contract to a sole Respondent.

The City

The City of South Perth is a medium sized metropolitan local government authority in the inner southern suburbs of the Western Australian capital city of Perth. Situated across the Swan River about 4 kilometres south of Perth CBD, the City is nearly 20 square kilometres and covers the suburbs of South Perth, Kensington, Como, Manning, Karawara, Waterford and Salter Point. The district is primarily residential, however important local industries include professional offices, educational institutions, tourism and golf courses.

The City is guided by its Sustainability Strategy, policy, systems and practices, which commit to identifying and minimising harmful sustainability impacts of the City's operations. The Organisation

The City's Civic Centre is located on the corner of Sandgate Street and South Terrace, South Perth. The City also operates from other locations including its Operations Centre at 199 Thelma Street, Como.

The organisation has the responsibility for the good government of the City of South Perth. The City must perform its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act WA 1995. The City also has statutory obligations under ma wide range of state and federal legislation.
