Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises (KEE) has been conducting a trial arrangement to collect and recover engineered timbers then load these at our site in Ingleside, Sydney, NSW into collection vehicles provided by a recycler who takes them to other Facility(s) then further refines the materials and remanufactures them into particle board. A concrete receival platform has been constructed and KEE has been sorting suitable materials from the mixed waste received at the Facility as well as encouraging its customers to being in source-separated engineered timbers for disposal at a discounted price since May 2022.

Following the success of this trial KEE is now seeking tenderers to conduct this service on an ongoing basis. A five-year term with 2 x 2 year extension options at KEE's discretion is proposed.

The successful Tenderer will collect, transport, receive and sort/refine the engineered timbers at their suitably licensed aggregation/processing facility(s) and dispose of any physical contamination arising from this refinement at their own expense at any suitably licensed facility. They will then convert these raw materials to new particle boards or other timber products for re-use.
