Tender Description
The project objectives are to:
- Understand the current status of ASS at Coogoorah Park, including determination of Net Acidity, from an analysis of Potential Acidity, Existing Acidity (actual & retained) and Acid Neutralizing Capacity. This should include changes since Sullivan et al. 2016 (see Scope below)
- Inform ASS management requirements for Coogoorah Park. This should cover timing and level of water management to maintain saturation of ASS to prevent further activation.
It will involve sampling and analysis, and likely laboratory testing of soil saturation behavior under different conditions.
Advice will need to be provided with regard to water level management.
