In this Request for Tender, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) (Organisation) is seeking to renew its panel of insurance and claims-related legal service providers (Panel).

The Panel contract will accordingly be for an initial term of two (2) years with an option to extend for a further term of three (3) years.

As set out in the Tender documents, VMIA has categorised the required services into three broad groups (each a Service Category) and provides an estimate of the number of firms that may be appointed to the Panel for each Service Category and sub-category. These numbers are indicative only and VMIA reserves the right to appoint any number of firms in its absolute discretion to each Service Category or subcategory.

Category 1 General Insurance, Category 2 Medical Indemnity and Category 3 Domestic Building Insurance.

A Supplier Briefing Session will be held on Monday, March 18th, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Attendance is not mandatory.

The purpose of the briefing session is to allow potential respondents to ask questions and clarify the Invitation Process and the project in general in an open forum.

Potential respondents will be required to register their interest in attending the briefing, as only respondents who meet the base levels of experience will be eligible to tender.
