North East Water (NEW) have completed a preliminary design that is issued as part of this RfT seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a design & construct contract to carry out the remediation works on Lagoons 1,2,5,6 and Maturation lagoon at the Beechworth Waste Water Treatment (WWTP) site.
The Beechworth WWTP is located approximately 4km north of the township between Spring Creek and La Serena Creek. The WWTP is a lagoon-based wastewater treatment system, comprising of two primary aerobic lagoons, six anaerobic lagoons, and a maturation lagoon.
