Tender Description
Request for proposal for the provision of External Audit Services to Austair Pilots Pty Ltd (Austair) and Australian Air Pilots Members Benefit Fund (MBF).
MBF operates as a Mutual Benefit structure under the trusteeship of Austair to provide loss of licence cover for commercial air pilots.
Pilots wishing to be covered by MBF must become members under the Rules of MBF in order to obtain benefits. In short, if a member pilot is ill or injured and has their CASA Class 1 medical certification suspended or cancelled they may be eligible to claim monthly benefits or a capital sum from MBF.
