Review of Remote Sensing Target Operating Model
Tender ID: 549750
Tender Details
Tender Description
Over the past 18 months, the Department of Regional Development Manufacturing and Water (DRDMW) has explored the potential benefits of establishing a remote sensing function. The work has explored opportunities to enhance intelligence generation and support existing business processes across the water management cycle from water planning right through to compliance.
These explorations have demonstrated the substantial potential benefits of investing in establishing a permanent remote sensing function. A target operating model for the delivery of this function has been developed which identifies remote sensing functions and process, resource requirements, potential for partnerships and dependencies.
Prior to making an investment decision to establish a permanent remote sensing function DRDMW is seeking to have the target operating model reviewed by a suitably qualified third party to ensure that the underpinning assumptions are sound, the expected benefits are realistic and resource requirements have been correctly identified and costed.
DRDMW is also keen to better understand opportunities that may exist to partner with other commercial, academic and government parties in the delivery of the proposed new remote sensing function.
