This project involves the upgrade of Jane Road from Chainage 0.00 to Chainage 0.340 within Alice Springs Town Council, Northern Territory. The aim is to improve the road's safety, functionality, and overall condition for all users.

Earthworks: General cut and fill, removal of excess materials, preparation and maintenance of subgrade 150mm compacted to 95%MMDD

Gravel Base: A 200mm gravel base provides a strong and stable foundation for the road pavement compacted to 100% MMDD

Sealing: The prime coat AMCOO @1.0L/m2 340m*7.2m and two-coat seal S10E Binder includes pre coat and additives will protect the road surface from water damage and wear and tear. Resealing existing sections will ensure uniformity and prevent further deterioration.

Traffic Management: A traffic management plan is crucial to ensure the safety of workers and motorists during construction of this project. This should include measures Stop and Go Operations, warning signs and adequate aftercare signages. A PTW - Permit to Work to be submitted to ASTC Prior to works.

Signage and Line Marking: Clear and up-to-date signage and pavement line marking and installation of Guide-posts, Giveaway and T-intersection signage

Testing: Conformance testing is necessary to ensure that all construction works meet the required standards and specifications. Hold points and Witness points to be addressed upon successful awarding of tender.
