The Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT) has initiated a major transformation program (the VET Modernization and Transformation (VMT) Program) to replace the existing Vocational Education and Training (VET) ICT systems that are administering the Queensland Governments VET sector.
As part of this initiative, the program aims to implement a Business Rules Decision Service (BRDS) that is intended to provide a common service, enabling the abstraction of hardcoded business logic into a configurable central repository, across the new VET ICT ecosystem.
The BRDS initiative seeks to identify and validate a fit for purpose solution, that is capable of efficiently processing large volumes of complex data validations and/or calculations, whilst ensuring optimal availability and performance.
There will be a Supplier briefing session on 6th March 2024 at 11:00am via Microsoft TEAMS. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to corporate.procurement@desbt.qld.gov.au by 12pm 5th March 2024, and an invite will be sent to you.
The supplier briefing is not a mandatory requirement in order to submit an offer.
