Tasports' current Enterprise Architecture has grown organically over many years. There are currently circa 108 applications supporting the business with limited governance and undefined responsibilities and accountabilities in this space.

TasPorts are seeking to establish a comprehensive view of both its current and future state Enterprise Architecture (EA) as a means to develop a Business Outcome and Business Capability driven target state and roadmap for its technology. Establishing an Enterprise Architecture view and establishing an internal EA capability is considered critical for our leadership and decision makers to have an informed view of our organisational capabilities and where there is the opportunity to make improvements in technology, functionality and reporting through removing duplication and obsolescence, in addition to deploying new technology and/or capabilities.
